Chapter 95: We Need to Take The Ring Where?

So Dooms not much a warrior?  That'll help explain the last scene where he just talks at Conan and doesn't fight back.  That scene just weirds me out, it's not a very good climax, especially after the fight over the princess.

He obviously has skill with weapons, otherwise he wouldn't be able to "sneak attack" Conan's mom at the beginning.  Other than that, he just has a hypnotic stare and a great speaking voice.

I do agree about the ending for the film.  It doesn't actually seem to have a solid climax at any one point, but rather seems to conclude with a silent contemplation on what Inigo Montoya goes through at the end of The Princess Bride.
